These are the events that God allowed me to experience:

I was able to invite two young ladies at church to spend Friday night for fellowship. It was a blessing to hear about their burden for the ministry and their standards as Christian women. We had fun swimming (haha) and we had a great time delving into God’s Word—Colossians 1:16 tells us that “all things were created by Him and for Him” We should be reminded that we are to live life for His glory alone—besides, it’s his not our own.

I’ll definitely be doing this more often ‘cause I’m thrilled to see future “church workers” and “missionaries” in these young women.

MOTHERS’ DAY! This year, we sang “My Mother’s Gentle Love”, Jash created a video and we gave out awards for the mothers such as “yum yum yum award” (great cooking skills) “fishermom award” (soulwinners), “game na game na mom award” (my aunt received this award, if you know her, you will understand why she became the recipient of this award.hahaha). Of course, at the end they all received the BEST MOM award. And our super mom standee was successful, the mothers loved it. (hopefully) hahaha Special thanks to LPBC youth for helping, Hannah B. and Dandan for creating our beautiful token for the moms–a chocolate rose (sayang, I don’t have a picture of that!). Pastor Jun’s message was a blessing too. Let us be reminded that “Only God can make a woman a mother”. 🙂 (Photos courtesy of Mr. Ronald Magno)

ELECTION DAY– Sad that I was not able to vote because I didn’t register. L God taught me something that day which can be found on Mark 12:17 “And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him.” We ought to obey these elected officers of our government because God tells us to respect them. So what if we think they are not capable of the job, so what if they’re not as good as the other candidates, so what if they’re involved in an issue. God tells us to respect them so we ought to do that for GOD. THIS IS A MATTER OF OBEDIENCE TO GOD –not merely to men.

Another lesson learned: NEED TO REGISTER for 2016.

ENROLMENT AT BOB JONES MEMORIAL BIBLE COLLEGE- Thrilled!! Excited! This was definitely the first time in my life in which I actually enjoyed an interview. Haha I was interviewed by Dr. K and it was a blessing to meet a godly man like him.

Excited on how the Lord will use BJMBC in my future ministry. 😀 😀 😀 😀

The Fundamental Baptist Fellowship International Conference was held at Quezon City for three days. Honestly, I have no idea what it was all about—I only cared for the extra credit of unit for my semester. :S But I believe it was God’s leading for me to attend and witness Christians who laid their lives  in serving the Lord. To hear of their testimonies, missions reports, and messages. PRAISE THE LORD—if only it lasted for one more week or so. I was deeply blessed by their lives especially with the message that Dr. Ron White , missionary to Japan, shared  “HASTE OR WASTE” A call to all Christians in spreading the Gospel in as many people as possible.

I was also blessed by Mrs. Beneth Jones, wife of Dr. Bob Jones III. She is a godly woman and I was grateful to have that opportunity to talk with her when they visited us at church for our prayer meeting service.  Humility is evident in her speech and praise the Lord for He gives me a pattern to follow.  (will update this blog as soon as I get our picture together) 😀 😀 😀

DEATH—  God reminded me about death and how unpredictable it can become in a person’s life. God has taught the value of not WASTING LIFE for SELF—but to give it so that others will know the very source of LIFE.

Sometimes, we appreciate people only after seeing them in a casket. I always remember this quote “Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been.” ― John Greenleaf Whittier” There are words we should or should not have said and actions that we should or should not have done.

Let us be reminded of the things that we ought to do while there is still time.

And why was I reminded of death?

Our pet dog, Gigi, died. 😥  How I wished I could have taken care of her more. 😥
