What happened this April?
FIRST OF ALL… I MISSED CAMP! 😦 😦 😦 I’ve been attending camp since I was 13 and I had to miss this one because of work. I tried not to become jealous since friday night as I started seeing posts and pictures!! huhu. But hey, good thing CAMP happens to be a yearly activity so I’m looking forward to the next one on 2014. 😉
Okay.. so for the activities that I was able to attend– here are some.
1. Lolly’s graduation (April 4)
Took a leave from work to attend Lolly’s graduation in SMX, MOA. Proud to have a sister who graduated CUM LAUDE for Bachelor of Elementary Education with Specialization in Special Education.
2. Papa and Lola’s Birthday (April 10)
Fun times with the whole De Guzman Clan. We had games, special numbers and of course, lots of FOOD! I always enjoy being the HOST/GAME MASTER in our reunion.:P
3. April 15-19 is our DVBS. And like CAMP, I was not able to attend our DVBS as well. 😦 😦
Praise the Lord for giving me one day to see how the kids were doing on their last day/ graduation. My mom donated 200pcs of hotdogs for the kids and I, together with my faithful friend, Amos went to church to see the children.
4. Moment of truth
The biggest event this April is when I acted on what God has been telling me this past year.. I resigned from work to take a 1 -year certificate course from Bob Jones Memorial Bible College.
I’m scared on what lies ahead.. I know my dad would definitely disagree with this… But as much as I want to make my parents happy.. I have to forsake them to glorify God by obeying Him and do what He wants me to do. I have been praying for this… and God answered my prayer when my mom, my tita and Pastor agreed that I enroll at BJMBC this school year.
God knows what’s best for me. I just have to trust Him.
It’s going to be a roller coaster ride… but hey, I know God’s way is perfect and He is always—ALWAYS in CONTROL.
5. OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL TO OUR RELATIVES: (April 7)
It was my burden to share God’s Word to our relatives– I praise God my mom shared the same burden with me and so last February, we decided to visit our relatives from both sides (grandmother and grandfather) My two Aunts came with us too, Tita Tess and Tita Cyn. It was a great day to be assured that when I die, I’ll see them in heaven.
6. 2nd Evangelistic Service at Church – April 21
We were able to invite Kuya Roi, Kuya Jonathan (our security guards in the bank where I work) and Ate Emma in the evangelistic Service. They did not profess yet. But just to be able to hear God’s Word is a blessing because it never returns VOID.
7. ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL!!
After going to my grandmother’s side in Dasmarinas, Cavite. We went to my grandfather’s side in Caloocan. We went there for the sole purpose of sharing the Gospel to them. Thanks to Amos for being with us! He also shared the Gospel to our relatives. I praise God for him. 🙂
